UI/UX Designer
2023
Europatoppen is a platform for Norwegian football clubs to watch, upload, and analyze match videos with telestration. I handled the full UX/UI, from login and registration to video view and admin tools.
I built a design system that balanced energy with accessibility, vibrant enough to match the sport, but clear enough for everyday use. Font sizes, contrast ratios, and iconography were all considered.
The home page leads with a curated match list and a two-step search, quick autocomplete for fast lookups, multi-tag filtering for when users want to dig deeper.
The match detail page shows the full video library for a game, from full match to clips, with download status, view counts, and tags so users know what they're getting before they click.
The upload flow needed to be simple enough that club staff could use it without any training. I kept it step-by-step and clear.
Designing for one audience
Designing for a specific community meant I could make opinionated choices rather than trying to please everyone.
Role-based navigation
Role-based navigation kept the experience clean, coaches see what coaches need, admins see what admins need.
Admin tools
The admin tools were a big part of the project. Well-designed management features save real time for real people.

Working solo on this one meant making a lot of calls. The result is a focused, purpose-built platform, not a generic video tool dressed up in football colors.
